Blue Drake Tavern
Big Jim Paunch
Big Jim Paunch, true to his name, has a girth that sits as a fine testament to the quality of his wife’s cooking. No one is quite sure how long the pair has been in charge of the town’s tavern, but long enough that tales of prior owner’s aren’t heard.
The dome of his head is bare of hair, though the reddish-gold sideburns, moustache and beard are glorious in their thick and wavy quality. Wrinkles and a few sunspots betray his age far more than the baldness. His posture and bearing, though, are of a man in his prime, a certain energy and grace exists despite the weight he bears.
